Some ministers had more than one portfolio. One question that comes to mind when I first read the list is what is the a Minsiter of State and how are they different from other ministers.

Now according to the constitution as set in the Constitution Act 1867 (it was renamed to this in 1982) the following is the power of the federal governemnt:To me there seems to be a slight discrepency. This is not to mention all of the crown corporations and other adjuncts to the government that exist.  Should we not get back to more of the basics of what we are to do and do them well and cost effectively? Our government continues to get larger regardless of what party is in power
